For the DIY home-mechanic, there are few things more satisfying than restoring a vintage car. But don’t pump the brakes on your project if you run into trouble. Get the expert help you need – without leaving your garage.

Classic cars: nice to look at, but even better to drive

Restoring vintage cars is a specialist service that not all mechanics are up for.

But with my long history and expertise in brakes – especially when it comes to older cars – I can help you get your old classic back in working order. My vintage car brake repair and restoration services include:

  • Fabricating new steel, copper or stainless-steel brake lines
  • Reconditioning hydraulic systems (including the master cylinder, wheel cylinders  and calipers)
  • Remote brake boosters
  • Disc and drum machining (completed onsite with a brake lathe)
  • Suspension and steering repairs or modifications

You won’t even need to leave your garage

If you’re restoring a car that’s not driveable but needs a brake mechanic, don’t let immobility get in the way. I travel across Melbourne’s South East suburbs and the Mornington Peninsula to my clients’ homes.
